Airbrushing Truck
Mural
Airbrushing auto art on a large surface such as a
full size truck is a very involved process which requires a lot of work.
Several years ago I had the opportunity to airbrush the murals on the monster
truck Bad News Travels Fast. For a one person shop (just me) this was a very
daunting job to take on but the challenge of pulling it off convinced me to
take it on. That and the fact Mattel Toys was going to market a line of toy
monster trucks sporting the murals made this a dream job to take on PR wise.
This all took place over the Thanksgiving holiday season and I had to
keep a very tight schedule to get it completed on time. I managed to document
some of the process of airbrushing the murals never really intending to market
a video on this project. I have enough footage to produce these two you tube
videos on how I went about airbrushing the murals. I apologize for not having
better lighting, sound but while shooting this footage I had no intention of
showing anyone else. I believe this footage contains some great information you
will find very helpful and so I put it up on You Tube for everyone to watch.
Below are part one of my video I hope you enjoy them. Don
